An April Update

No April Fool's gags here, just a quick update on all the things that have happened since my last update.

Things are moving right along with the studio! All of the boring back-office stuff is being established (booking software, bank accounts, other things that make my eyes glaze over), and well on their way to being fully functional by the time we're ready to open the doors. There was a prop-buying spree that we just won't talk about other than to say that I have SO MANY props all ready for you to use, to include the world's coziest (but no longer the lintiest) blankets ever.

The biggest news though is that we have our initial line up of teachers! If you go to the Meet Your Teachers page on the website, you'll find yourself greeted by some of your most beloved faces smiling back at you. In addition to your familiar favorites, we have some new faces to introduce to you in the coming weeks. I am overwhelmed by the support that everyone has given thus far. Truly, we would be nowhere if not for their willingness to be part of this journey. I am beyond grateful.

Next up...schedule! We are currently waiting on some permitting issues to be resolved so we can move ahead with the renovations on the space. That means, that I can't publish our schedule until I have a solid opening date. In the meantime, I invite you to go by the Our Classes page and see our initial class lineup. Keep in mind though that I am updating the website a little at a time, so just because you don't see your favorite class yet, doesn't mean it's not coming.

On the topic of websites, you may notice that it is getting more informative since you last perused it.

And finally, so many of you have asked me how you can help, and I am so incredibly grateful for the offers of assistance. The best way you can help is to help me get the word out by engaging with our social media posts, sharing them, telling your friends and family (or in my case, anyone who will sit still long enough to listen).

We're still pushing for mid-May, but I will keep you all updated on the schedule getting published, as well as once we have an official GRAND OPENING!
